Adam Back, Blockstream Co-founder and CEO, on Thursday, April 2, has shared his two cents on the upcoming Bitcoin halving. The last bitcoin halving occurred on July 16, which led to a block reduction from25 BTC to 12.5.

Historically speaking, whenever the event of bitcoin halving is on the cards, it is generally associated with a significant increase in price before it and after it specially. However, this time around, opinions are divided, whether that will be the case or not.

The pessimists are painting the picture that as halving is set to occur, bitcoin should already be priced in. The optimists opine that given that it has always happened historically, before bitcoin halving or right after it, a bitcoin price rally is imminent.

Adam Back has popped up with an interesting fact. He shared his view on twitter and stated that as the banks around the globe are interested in doing quantitative easing, bitcoin is on its way to do a qualitative hardening, which it says is set for next month around the halving period.

The bank of England describes quantitative easing as a weapon of central banks to inject money into the economy. To further emphasized what it means they added that, quantitative easing is the process of forming digital money, which they then can utilize to buy things like government debt in the form of bonds.

Adam Back added further that all the time people talk about hard money, and he thinks quantitative hardening is bitcoin becoming harder. He also emphasized that all this is occurring as the world's faith in fiat is fading and they are switching to the process of quantitative easing.

Goldman Sachs also chipped in with his view and tweeted that since all institution is pumping money into the economy as if it is growing on trees, this is a perfect opportunity to buy bitcoin.
