Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group has recently invested $1 million which is approximately Rs. 7.5 crore in Hapramp. It is a startup which has been created by a few students of Indian Institute of Information Technology in Vadodara. It was founded back in 2018, based in Gurugram and is working on different technologies like blockchain and social media.

Anand Mahindra said that he has been looking to invest in a startup for a very long time. He found this startup to be extremely good in what they offer and called it a great combination of technology, creativity and data protection.
<h2>Anand Mahindra tweeted regarding funding Indian social media startup </h2>
Back in 2018 which is two years from now, Anand Mahindra has tweeted regarding his desire to fund any social media startup based in India. According to Jaspreet Bindra, ex-Mahindra executive, Hapramp is working on building up a social media network i.e. GoSocial. The firm also rewards the content creators who are working on its platform and gives protection to personal data. Not only this Hapramp is also operating another social media platform, 1Ramp.io which is powered by both Asteria Protocol and Steem Blockchain.
<h2>GoSocial gained 50,000 users within three months</h2>
It has been revealed that GoSocial is able to gain around 50,000 users within just three months which is a huge achievement for a startup. Here the users are able to get engaged in various challenges which have been created by artists, photographers, etc. Currently, it is available on the Google Play Store and soon it will be developed for Apple App Store as well. The firm is aiming towards gaining around 10 lakh users across India by the end of this year. This funding by Anand Mahindra is going to play a major role behind achieving this target by Hapramp.
