Bakkt, a digital assets subsidiary is <a href="https://blog.cryptoknowmics.com/create-your-own-cryptocurrency-online/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">developing its cryptocurrency app</a> which is focused on retail. Recently, it has <a href="https://www.bakkt.com/blog/company/bringing-digital-assets-mainstream" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">revealed</a> that this retail crypto app will feature both loyalty and game reward points. Adam White, Bakkt’s president has said that the firm is aiming towards increasing the accessibility, trust and usability of digital assets, cryptocurrencies and loyalty points. Recently, the firm has also acquired Bridge2 solutions which are a consumer loyalty startup. This startup has provided rewards points of worth $1.5 trillion to its users.
<h2>Bakkt forming partnerships for its custody solution</h2>
It has also been noticed that currently, Baakt is working on forming partnerships with various firms for Bakkt Warehouse which is its custody solution. It has also partnered with Starbucks from where it will start testing its retail app.

The firm has not released the names of companies and stores which will become part of its reward system. In this retail app, the users will have an ability to convert crypto into cash or any other rewards. In order to track the rewards points, the firms will need to connect the crypto retail app to any digital assets account. According to Bakkt, this app is going to become a new digital wallet, where the users will be able to manage all of their digital accounts. Along with this, they will also get a feature of instant liquidity and <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/best-crypto-trading-bots-in-2020" target="_blank" rel="noopener">crypto trading</a> as well.
<h2>Targeting gaming demographics with a retail app</h2>
As it has been mentioned by Bakkt that the retail app will help to track game rewards and points. With this, the users will be able to earn money while playing the games. However, majorly it will be dependent on the games that this app will support otherwise it seems that the firm might be targeting the demographics of the games.
