<h3>Binance's Weibo Account gets Shut down for Violations</h3>
On China's chief microblogging website, Weibo, Binance's official account has been shut down. The account of giant exchange was blocked on Nov 13, reportedly due to the site's policy violations. The Taiwan-settled news outlet, The China Times reported regarding the news on Nov 15.

At the time of press, Binance's Weibo page gets blocked, the notice was showing that account has violated provisions of the Weibo Community Convention. All the content, such as Binance's posts and series of followers, is not available at the moment.

Regarding the issue, Binance did not comment on the source when asked about the blocked account.
<h3>Binance's Plots of Launching Wechat and Alipay Fiat Gateways Could be the Cause</h3>
Alongside insider reports regarding stringent penalties for the industry in China, the action could be the reason for Binance's launch of new fiat gateways in the country. Chairman of Singapore Blockchain Technology Foundation, Zhu Hongbing told The China Times that shut down of Binance's account has the connection with its move to embrace fiat currencies via China's payment giants Alipay and Wechat.

<a href="https://twitter.com/cz_binance?lang=en">Binance CEO Changoeng Zhao (CZ)</a> stated that Binance has started adopting fiat currencies through Alipay and Wechat on Oct 9. After the announcement, Alipay stated to banning all the Bitcoin and other crypto-related transactions on Oct 10.
<h3>Tron's Account on Weibo is Also Blocked, Huobi and OKEx's Are Active</h3>
The Tron Foundation, the crypto company behind the 11th major cryptocurrency Tron(TRX) had also got its account blocked on Weibo. However, the major crypto exchanges Huobi and <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/crypto-exchange-okex-joins-klaytn-to-boost-blockchain-adoption/">OKEx's</a> accounts are still operational at the time of press.

Weibo is purportedly the second-largest social media forum in China launched in 2019, usually referred to as "Chinese Twitter".
