The global trading volume on<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/infinito-wallet-partners-with-paxful-to-integrate-its-peer-to-peer-services/"> peer-to-peer</a> (P2P) platforms has peaked its Jan 2018 highs suggesting highly bullish sentiment in the crypto market.

Interestingly, <span style="font-weight: 400;">Latin American and African markets are now driving the international P2P markets, achieving an all-time high since January 2018. With the value of almost $95 million recorded on Localbitcoins and Paxful at the beginning of August, the total global P2P bitcoin trading has observed a spike reaching its highest level since January of 2018.  </span>
<h2><strong>Latin America spikes in trade volume</strong></h2>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">With P2P markets in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Honduras, Uruguay, Mexico, and the Bahamas all reporting new highs from the beginning of July, the trade activity has lately roused in numerous Latin American markets explaining the sudden spike in trade volumes. The major share of Latin America's market of almost $13 billion in the weekly P2P trade is still conquered by the Venezuelan trade, continuously climbing to more than $5 million for 2 weeks.
