Blockchain Service Network, BSN which is the largest name when it comes to blockchain in China has now added smart contract programming language to its platform. This will be made possible with the help of Red Date Technology. DAML smart contract language support will be added to the platform by Red Date only.
BSN made DAML an exclusive standard
This news of adding the smart contract language was revealed by the firm on September 14. According to the announcement, DAML could be seen as an exclusive standard for developing DApps. It has been revealed that with this, there will not be any need for developers to rewrite the smart contracts whenever they deploy any application on BSN to a new platform.
As per the announcement, both Red Date Technology and Digital Assets will be completing the first DAML pilot on the BSN network by the end of November 2020. Within this pilot, there will be the deployment of a DAML application which will bring together IBM’s Hyperledger Fabric and FISCO BCOS by WeBank. According to the representative of the firm, the application will be integrated into the BSN’s core architecture.
Connecting global blockchain platform leads to global adoption
Yifan He, CEO of Red Date Technology has said that through this integration of DAML with BSN, the users will have an ability to use this one language seamlessly. Yuval Rooz, CEO of Digital Asset has stated that connecting global blockchain platforms could be seen as a key to global adoption.
BSN is a state-backed initiative which was launched back in late 2019 only. The major purpose of launching this was to help medium-sized businesses to build and deploy blockchain applications. It is also revealed that the platform will also integrate the stablecoin support by the next year which will add more payment options to it.
