A new equity offering has recently been introduced via Bnktothefuture in the market, by the Celsius Network, leading decentralized finance (DeFi) application. 

While surpassing its minimum investment goal of $10.5 million, the campaign came a bit closer to its maximum goal of $15 million by raising more than $10.7 million.
<h2>US As Well As International Investors Can Make Investment</h2>
The investors could make a minimum investment of $1,000 in the equity fundraising round of Celsius. In its announcement, the DeFi application has notified that not only the US investors but also the international investors are allowed to make the investment in the round. Presently, there are 39 investors who have participated in the round, still, 44 days are remaining, those who want to make the investment can make do so. 

The equity of Celsius Network would be distributed to the investors in the form of Preferred A shares. Presently, $5 million have already been assigned to the leading investors of Preferred A shares and another $5 million has been designated in Preferred A1 shares, by the company.

While <a href="https://twitter.com/Mashinsky/status/1271145751352049664" target="_blank" rel="noopener">discussing</a> the raised fund, the found and the chief executive of the Celsius Network, Alex Mashinsky, tweeted, “You helped build brands by using them, but if you wanted to own equity in them, that was reserved for the few mega VC’s who funded @Uber @Facebook @LinkedIn. You only got to buy them full price when they IPO. @CelsiusNetwork opened it’s A round to you”.
<h2>Selected Group Of Early Investors </h2>
Currently, only a selected group of early investors could make an investment in the company because for the new investors it is very risky.

According to Bnktothefuture, this is a stage where most of the projects fail and till the company gets listed publicly, the investors could not sell their shares.

The Celsius could lend $6.2 billion in loans, $630 million in assets and over 106,000 active wallets that is the reason its pitch represents the company as crypto interest and lending platform.
