CoinMarketCap will now pay its users for learning more about crypto through its newly <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/earn/faq" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> platform called CoinMarketCap Earn.

The first asset that would be listed on CoinMarketCap’s new platform for learning would be the Sequoia-backed cross-chain data oracle Band Protocol.

CoinMarketCap is not the first company to incentivize the crypto asset education, in June 2019, Coinbase did the same.
<h2>Coinbase Earn Was First Campaign</h2>
The San Fransisco-based crypto exchange introduced a platform known as Coinbase Earn which paid its users for learning about crypto assets. 

It is being assumed that being a most popular data site in the crypto space, CoinMarketCap would be able to attract millions of people to its new platform, 

While talking about CoinMarketCap’s newly launched platform, the CEO and the founder of Band Protocol, Sovaris Srinawakoon, said, 
<blockquote>“Given CoinMarketCap is likely the number one traffic website in crypto, where all the newcomers go to check prices, it’s really important that they lead this initiative for users and that’s why we decided to join them.”</blockquote>
He further expressed his excitement, as his company would be the first one to be the part of CoinMarketCap’s new initiative.
<h2>Band Protocol To Be First To Join Earn Campaign </h2>
According to a notification, it is important for the users to have an account on CoinMarketapt to participate in its Earn campaign, which would last eight days.

The smart contract applications like DeFi space uses the Band Protocol to connect themselves with the real world and use the external data. 

For the first time, the Band Protocol has been participating in an Earn Campaign to educate people and also reward them cryptocurrency.

It has been announced that any of the users joining the campaign would learn about crypto assets and if the person wants to test their knowledge, they can do so via the same platform. For participating in the quiz, the data site would reward the users with a small amount of cryptocurrency.
