Curv, an institutional custody startup is expanding its business into Asia. While making <a href="https://www.curv.co/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcement</a> it has said that by the end of April 2020, it would open a new office of APAC in Hong Kong, in partnership with Japan-based Crypto Garage.

Crypto Garage, creates new and innovative crypto financing tools which help the market to move forward. It has a good reputation in Japan.
<h2>Curv Helps With MPC Technology</h2>
The CEO of Curv, Itay Malinger, has stated that the aim of the company is to provide multi-party computation (MPC) technology to help various cryptocurrencies of self custody Asian exchanges. While comparing to the other parts of the world, Malinger said that Asia has more per capita exchanges.

According to the Curv, in Asia, the demand for crypto industry investment is increasing and it is just following that.
<h2>Crypto Garage To Introduce SETTLENET</h2>
The Japanese firm partnered with Curv is presently working on SETTLENET, an atomic settlement platform. This platform is being created on Liquid Network, an OSS-based Bitcoin sidechain which has been developed by Blockstream.

A report suggests that the SETTLENET would be used to help those smart contracts which need instant settlement for trading crypto assets. The non-custodial platform would be launch in the market in June 2020.

Justin Dhingra from Crypto Garage discussed the company’s partnership with Curv and stated, “We thought the MPC approach where the private key is not stored in one place and is split up was very appealing to use from a security standpoint”.

Maligner also gave the details about the SETTLENET and stated that without involving any third party the platform would transfer the assets. Additionally, he stated that in today’s time the Crypto Garage is a very important part of the Japanese market.

A report also states that in Japan, the Curv has more strategic investors that would help the company grow in the Asian Market.
