Blockchain platform D-BANK Foundation has agreed on a <a href="https://prnmedia.prnewswire.com/news-releases/d-bank-foundation-and-thai-kaitai-bank-reached-a-strategic-cooperation-to-promote-the-implementation-of-dbm-s-thai-payment-scene-895130367.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">strategic partnership</a> with Thailand bank, Kia Tai Bank to promote the integration of DBM Thai Payment scheme. The partnership would see Kai Tai bank issue digital currency payment cards that would support D-BANK Foundation native token DBM.

Users of the card would be able to recharge the cards with DBM and be able to withdraw Thai baht from ATM Machines across Thailand. In-addition, Kai Tai bank would support the promotion of DBM's payment solution in Thailand and give a base for the development of D-Bank's cross border travel payment platform.

Kai Tai Bank is the fourth largest bank in Thailand with more than 800 branches in Thailand and 17 branches in nine overseas countries. The firm has continually employed<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> blockchain technology</a> with its participation in the Visa B2B Connect pilot program which helps financial institutions handle cross-border B2B payment services through blockchain technology.

D-BANK Foundation appears to be the major winner in this partnership as this would expose its blockchain to a large number of potential customers. In addition, the partnership would ensure a seamless exchange between its digital currency and Thai Bhat which would increase DBM liquidity.

D-BANK would also be able to test run their cross-border travel payment system using customers from the bank which would ensure a constant inflow of transactions that would strengthen its blockchain.
<h2>D-BANK Has Engaged In Multiple Partnerships In Recent Months</h2>
This would be the second major partnership within the space of a few months after the partnership with Korean financial giants KONA. The partnership which occurred in June, enabled the Korean firm to issue a DBPay payment card that could be recharged with DBM and used across Korea.

The cards which have already been operational have become popular due to its ease of use. In addition, the firm has also made partnerships with several Asian firms regarding its <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cross-border</a> travel payment platform. It is understood that there are plans to extend these services to multiple countries with the group's aim of accessing 30 countries by 2020.
