A few days ago, the NFT collection disclosed the distinct Penguin PFPs chosen for the "Pudgy Toys" lineup and launched its <a href="https://marketplace.pudgypenguins.com/#/marketplace/pudgypenguins" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">marketplace</a> for Pudgy NFTs.

On Sunday, the collection unveiled its brand-new nine-member <a href="https://twitter.com/pudgypenguins/status/1561472772911648769" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">advisory board</a> of leaders and industry titans, comprising COO of Saks Fifth Avenue RJ Cilley, Meta's partnerships team member Jordan Sterling, Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik, and Hasbro’s head of licensing Jess Richardson. On Monday, a day after the announcement of the advisory board formation, the most unique penguin in the collection got sold for 400 ETH, or nearly $630,000.

<h2>Community Criticized Former Pudgy Penguins CEO</h2>
For penguins, life has not always been ideal. The collection was on thin ice earlier this year when several community members criticized former CEO Cole "ColeThereum" Villemain, alleging he broke commitments, bought off a former moderator, and "rugpulled" their group when he released some fishing poles.

Luca Netz, an NFT enthusiast, saved the day when some Pudgy holders demanded Cole to leave and "wrapped" their Penguins in a bid to stop him from getting more royalties.

Taking over from Cole, Netz purchased the collection in April for $2.5 million, and things appear to be going well. Regarding the previous six months after taking the collection, Netz stated,
