Expedia Partnership With Travala.Com Results in Addition of 70K Accommodation

Travala.com, a crypto travel platform has recently announced that it has made an addition of 700,000 accommodations on its platform. It has been seen that the firm has around 2 million accommodation options available now in over 230 countries. This has been made possible through the recent partnership with travel giant, Expedia.

Expedia aiming to scale up Travala.com’s business

Alfonso Paredes, Senior Vice President at Expedia group has said that his firm is aiming to expand the business of Travala.com faster. Along with this, he has also said that the firm completely encourages the innovation and importance of different payment methods. With this, the users will have access to more payment methods which they do not have generally. The firm has allowed Travala.com to have access to Expedia’s rapid application programming interface. Through this, it is able to offer Expedia’s accommodation to its users by providing them with a crypto payment option.

Other deals of Travala.com

It is not only Expedia with whom Travala.com has cracked a deal to increase its accommodation options. It has been seen that there are many other firms also with whom it is having a partnership. Back in November 2019, the firm formed a partnership with Booking.com and with this partnership, it was able to add 90,000 accommodation to its platform. This is causing direct benefit to its users because they will be having access to more accommodation options which they had earlier.

By the starting of this year, it was seen that the firm was able to increase its revenue by around 33% by forming a partnership with Booking.com. It has also formed a partnership with TravelByBit which is a flight booking service backed by cryptocurrency. All those who want to spend their crypto assets on their travel needs, Travala.com has given a lot of options to explore.
