To a recent <a href="https://www.irishtimes.com/business/technology/facebook-continuing-to-hire-for-hundreds-of-roles-in-ireland-1.4232703" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">development </a>in the Libra project, Facebook is planning to recruit people for it. It will recruit around 50 people in Ireland by the end of 2020. This came out today only and it has also been specified that this new recruitment will be for various functions related to the Libra project. Libra is a proposed digital currency by the largest social media giant, Facebook.

This announcement is coming a few days after Facebook has said that it is stepping back from the Libra project and might resume it by the end of this year. There were certain changes in the whitepaper of the Libra as it was announced by the Libra Association itself.
<h2>Libra Project to have experts from various fields</h2>
Laura Morgan Walsh has said that the Libra Association is still investing in the Libra project even during such a huge global crisis. It is hiring people in Ireland for the project and there will be experts from various fields. The major areas would be fraud compliance, customer care and workforce management. This will ultimately provide support to the Calibra wallet as well.

Few days before, the Libra association had also revealed some changes in its stablecoin project. Earlier the project was supposed to have multi-currency stablecoin. Now along with this, it will also have a series of single-currency stablecoins.
<h2>Few partners withdrew from the project</h2>
The Libra project was announced by Facebook in the previous year, particularly in June 2019. Even though it has now been launched yet, it already started seeing several complications due to many financial regulators. A lot of partners of the project have already withdrawn from it at the starting of 2020 only. Some of the notable ones are Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.

Even after all these complications and difficulties, Facebook is not stepping back. Although the company has announced that it will step back for a while but it is still planning to launch Libra by the end of this year.
