Gemini, one of the huge and regulated cryptocurrency exchanges across the world, is now planning to move ahead with Brave. Brave is an open-source browser and is all set to expand its network with Gemini. Through a blog post by Gemini, it came out that the firm is planning to collaborate with Brave. It will soon support the trading of tokens by Brave which are Basic Attention Token (BAT).
As Gemini has revealed that it will be supporting Brave’s token, it also told the date from when it will start trading. According to the blog post, Brave will start trading its tokens from April 24. All the users of Gemini will be able to purchase BAT from this particular date and can deposit those tokens into their Gemini account.
After Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Zcash, BAT is going to be the sixth digital asset that will be available on this platform. Gemini has also specified that it will be offering trading pairs of different digital assets associated with the platform. These trading pairs will be from USD, BTC and ETH and it will be done with the help of the automated block trading system of Gemini.
The whole world is trying to deal with the situation that has been created by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this situation of self-isolation and severe lockdown, Brave has seen a notable rise in its users during this. It has been reported that there are more than one million new users of this browser that too in only March.
Some analysts have been saying that the major reason behind the success of Brave is its commitment to users' privacy. In this browser, the data of each individual is secure and private and maybe because of these, there has been an increase of more than double users on the browser from 2018 to 2019.
