Jose Delbo, the DC and Marvel comic book artist has <a href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/dc-comics-artist-launches-vr-exhibition-in-decentraland" target="_blank" rel="noopener">initiated</a> an exhibition for a week on July 23, in the virtual reality space based on Ethereum, Decentraland.

Delbo started his career at a very early age, his most famous character for DC Comics is Wonder Woman and for Marvel is Transformers.
<h2>Digital Images At MakersPlace Gallery </h2>
He has been using the Decentraland platform to launch the digital images so that it could be viewed and sold at in-game MakersPlace gallery. The digital images also deliver the proof of ownership which has been recorded via blockchain technology.

Anyone, who wants to view or purchase the digital images, could log into the virtual space. Although not much people visited the gallery presently, some people who visited it were seen captivated with the work of the artist.

When Delbo was describing his arts, the users could be seen so much involved in his pieces and words.

MakersPlace gallery, which is the virtual one, is not very much large, so the users could view the whole of the exhibition in very less time.
<h2>Bid Artwork Using ETH And Fiat</h2>
The most popular artwork of Delbo in the exhibition is of a Superman, who has been seen punching the COVID-19 while wearing a mask. The art of Superman is called ‘The Last Son of Krypton Fights for Humankind.’

Other digital images presented in the gallery are of Batman, Wonder Woman and ‘Certainty of Death’.

People who want to purchase the artwork of Delbo, are allowed to bid using Ethereum (ETH) or fiat currency.

Currently, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, many of the galleries and exhibitions around the worlds have been shut down or have reduced the capacity of the visitors. But, Decentraland is like a new ray of hope for these exhibitions and galleries as it provides them with an intriguing alternative.

In the year 2017, Decentraland raised a total of $1 million for its initial coin offerings.
