In an <a href="https://www.lombardodier.com/home/press.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcement </a>made earlier, a partnership has been inked between Lombard Odier Group and Swiss blockchain and digital assets solution provider Taurus. Taurus provide banks and asset managers to banks and Lombard group would not just be a new partner but would also invest in it.

The group's primary aim is to be at the forefront of technological advancement and blockchain is the talk of the town for years now, this is one field where the Lombard Odier Group really don't want to fall behind and hence the technology-driven firm has partnered with Taurus. The group has a reputation of not only investing in its own technology but also bringing onboard digital solutions which would benefit the company and its customers in the long run.

Managing Partner of the firm was Alexandre Zaller highlighted that Lombard Odier Group deal with Taurus is a step in the right direction and the company is certain that they will make advancements in the field of blockchain.
<h2>Lombard Odier Group Has Made Similar Deals Before</h2>
The partnership with Taurus is not the first one as it has made similar deals in the past with other fintech firms and has integrated them into the platform.  Lombard Odier Group would be investing in the Swiss Blockchain company too to help it make development in its own blockchain solution.

Taurus Group has no shortage of suitors and is constantly evolving. In order to expand its digital asset solution, the firm managed to raise over ten million euros. The raised capital would also be used to go open and expand offices in different countries like France and Germany. Even big guns like Tezos decided to invest in it.

The financial markets are all responding in their own way to combat the Covid-19 and the deal is a sure shot sign that people's are not turning their back on new technology like blockchain even in times likes these.
