Mitsubishi, a metal and mineral subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation RtM Japan Ltd., has <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/mitsubishi-corporation-rtm-japan-goes-live-with-eco-powered-by-skuchains-blockchain-based-ec3-platform-301107956.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">launched</a> a blockchain platform called ECO. This platform has been launched by the firm to digitize the trading of precious metals.

This platform has been launched through a partnership with Skuchain, which is an American blockchain company. It has been built on the top of the EC3 platform of Skuchain, particularly for supply chain management and finance based on blockchain technology. 
<h2>Mitsubishi to first bring the most valued customer to the platform</h2>
According to the official announcement, this new blockchain platform is going to ease out the complete process of trading metal. Along with this, it will also generate, manage, and execute the invoices of the trade and the confirmation. It has been specified that Mitsubishi will first bring all the most valued customers to ECO. After its success, it will be further expanded to a broad audience which will cover a more extensive supply chain system. 

All the traders who will be using the ECO platform will be able to sign and upload the trade documents on the platform. All the signed documents could also be shared with others, along with hiding the sensitive information.
<h2>More features will be added to the platform</h2>
As per the announcement made by the firm, it will further add more features to its ECO platform. More features will help the firm to solve complex challenges related to the supply chain of the metal trading industry. The financial subsidiary of the firm, Mitsubishi UFJ Group, has also collaborated with LayerX. This partnership has been formed between both of them to promote digitization for different companies and government agencies. 

Back in the previous year, it was also revealed that the firm is planning to launch its stablecoin shortly. The company is doing quite significant when it comes to the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/blockchain-advertising-use-cases/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">blockchain industry</a> and if further expanding its operations across different sectors.
