<span style="font-weight: 400;">Nium, a Ripple partner global fintech firm has just <a href="https://business-review.eu/international/global-fintech-platform-nium-receives-emi-licence-in-uk-212736" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">received</a> an EMI license from the UK regulator, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). After receiving the license, the firm becomes eligible to offer real-time digital payments in the UK. Along with this, the firm will also be able to issue electronic money across the UK. </span>
<h2><b>Nium will expand its global B2B and B2C financial services</b></h2>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">It is revealed that after receiving this license from FCA, Nium will be able to expand its global B2B and B2C financial services. Now the firm will be issuing e-money and other related services like storing money in digital wallets. Along with this, it will also perform real-time digital payments between its users in the UK and other 3.2 billion users from across the world. This will simply help to avoid all the delays and high transaction fees which are generally associated with it.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Prajit Nanu, CEO of Nium has said that as the Brexit transition period is over, the EU license of the company will restrict the firm to continue its operations in the UK. However, as the firm has now received the EMI license, there will not be any such problem now. Some new economic interaction rules have also come into effect between the EU and the UK. With EMI license, the customers of the firm can easily use their Open Money Network.</span>
<h2><b>Another Ripple partner receives a license from Netherlands central bank</b></h2>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Along with Nium, another Ripple partner, Currencycloud has also received a license from the central bank of Netherlands. Currencycloud is another e-money company and with this new license, this firm will also continue its operations across Europe. The firm will also be offering the remittance service to the EU customers. Nium has also partnered with Visa, a fintech giant to start issuing credit and debit cards to its customers.</span>
