MintGreen, the cleantech <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/canada-to-strengthens-cryptocurrency-regulations/">cryptocurrency miner</a> based in Canada, will be reportedly partnering with the Lonsdale Energy Corporation (LEC). The outcome of this initiative is to supply heat to the residents of North Vancouver beginning in the year 2022.

In an announcement made officially by MintGreen, the partnership with LEC was disclosed on October 14, Thursday.

The CEO of MintGreen, Colin Sullivan, said that the aim of the partnership is to tackle issues related to climate change. 

Moreover, in accordance with MintGreen, its Digital Boilers recover over 96% of the electricity utilized for <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/how-to-get-started-with-bitcoin-mining/">mining Bitcoin</a> in the form of heat energy. Hence, they are planning to use this heat energy to provide heat services in contribution to the industrial processes.

As revealed, North Vancouver will be preventing around 20,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases per megawatt from making an entry into the atmosphere. Also, it will be utilizing the heart energy to heat 100 residential and commercial buildings with a population of roughly 155,000.

Karsten Veng, the CEO of Lonsdale Energy Corporation, shared a comment on the partnership that said:
