Opera Provides Built-In Crypto Wallet for U.S. Users

Opera which is among the most famous web browsers announced on Tuesday that its U.S. based users will be able to do in-app purchases from its crypto wallet. These purchases will include Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETC). This service will be available for both android and iOS users.

The partnership of Opera with Wyre

In a press release Opera has announced that this crypto wallet by Opera has been possible because of the partnership with Wyre. Wyre is a payment solution provider which connects both fiat and cryptocurrency together.

This feature has been specially designed to provide the users with a facility to buy crypto within the app by using different payment methods. iOS users can use Apple Pay to do the payment. For android users, there is an option of making payment through debit cards.

Opera has provided the service of purchasing crypto earlier also. At that time, there was only an option to purchase Ether and that too for users in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Although Opera has announced to purchase crypto through it there are some limits to it. The total amount of crypto that a user can purchase is $250. An extra fee will be charged along with the transaction commission during each purchase.

Crypto top-ups for other countries

It has been revealed that Opera is also planning to introduce crypto top-ups in other countries also. This will create more opportunities and a wide network.

According to the developers, this feature is going to be very convenient for iOS users. All the iOS users will be able to make a purchase in just 30 seconds.

Earlier, this was not the case as crypto purchases used to take hours because of which it became a time-consuming process. It is going to completely change the experience of purchasing crypto via mobile app.
