The global cryptocurrency market has over 100 million users for the first time ever, according to a <a href="https://assets.ctfassets.net/hfgyig42jimx/5u8QqK4lqjEgL506mOx4m3/d44d8e204aecfc75a839e2a9d505f5d1/Crypto.com_Data_Report_-_On-chain_Market_Sizing.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">study</a> that recorded 106 million crypto users in the 1st month of 2021. The Bitcoin bull resulting in strong adoption of cryptocurrencies is said to be the main driver of the January 15.7% raise in the crypto population. 

Another survey from the financial advisory group deVere found that despite the crypto-market is more associated with young investors, older people are equally participating to invest in BTC. Even 70% of clients of the advisory group who invested in BTC are over 55 years of age.
