Initial Offering Coin (ICO) are truly revolutionary instruments. Thanks to them, companies that would never have been able to take off through traditional financing methods such as Initial Public Oferring (IPO), manage to collect the necessary capital to start their projects.

However, sometimes these projects can be a bit extravagant which is the case of the South China Zombie Center. The group appeared on Twitter on August 15 with the promise that they could train Zombies to accept cryptocurrencies instead of brains, thus stopping a potential Zombie apocalypse.

To that end, the group  hired <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/?s=mcafee">John McAfee,</a> the famous billionaire anti-virus tycoon, whose life made headlines around the world after being jailed for a few days in the Dominican Republic, due to illegal possession of weapons of war on his private yacht.

McAfee was commissioned by the center for the promotion of CZ coin, as well as writing of the “white paper". A situation which McAfee has took advantage of to make fun of the cryptocurrency with his typical humor on Twitter

However, the controversy would not have erupted until McAfee published, on September 4, the first draft of the White Paper he is writing, in which he makes clear what his position on the new cryptocurrency is.

Faced with this threat McAfee responded with a tweet in which he commented that everything had been a misunderstanding and that his first draft was only a preliminary version of what will finally appear on the white paper.

Although this situation is totally absurd, and probably the product of some kind of joke with McAfee in the lead, it is interesting to review it as a reminder of something that may not always be very present in the crypto world
