A series of Rabbids collectables has been released to raise money for supporting United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) by the gaming giant Ubisoft, on June 17.

VenutreBeat, while <a href="https://venturebeat.com/2020/06/17/ubisoft-launches-blockchain-based-rabbids-collectibles-to-raise-money-for-unicef/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcing </a>the launch of collectables, stated that the Ubisoft has released at least 55 Rabbids as tokens on the blockchain of Ethereum.
<h2>Rabbids Build On ERC-721</h2>
The Strategic Innovation Lab of Ubisoft has developed the token on ERC-721 Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) standards.

The France-based gaming company has designed the collectables in a way that it can be traded easily. Ubisoft has clearly stated that the money it will raise through Rabbids sale would be transferred in UNICEF funds to support it.

The gaming company has adapted the “always-for-sale” model for the collectables, which means a player can collect the tokens at any time from its owner while paying its current value in Ether (ETH). In return to that, the former owner of the Rabbids would get Proof of Plausible Ownership (POPO) certificate, which proves that once the person holds the Rabbids tokens.
<h2>Tokens Can Be Used In Other Games</h2>
Every time the owner of the token is changed, its aesthetic representation will also get affected, says Ubisoft. It specified that whatever profit the company will earn from Rabbids sale would be directly transacted into the crypto fund account of the UNICEF.

According to Ubisoft, as the tokens are built on NFT standards, therefore, they are fully interoperable and the holder can use it in any other games also.

Ubisoft has been a fan of <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto-tutorial/blockchain/">blockchain</a> for a long time, therefore, it has been incorporating or planes to incorporate blockchain across its business line.

A report earlier stated that Ubisoft has decided to be a producer on UOS blockchain so that it could support Ultra, a gaming project.
