The first generation of altcoin, Reddcoin (RDD) has<a href="https://www.reddcoin.com/2020/02/08/reddcoin-solutions-rypplzz-inc-announce-strategic-partnership/"> announced</a> to release a new updated version of the 3.0 wallet. The crypto pioneer did not change the look of the wallet, but it upgraded the underlying engine of the<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/cryptocurrency-pivx-is-ready-to-launch-most-advanced-qt-crypto-wallet/"> wallet</a> to develop a Reddcoin blockchain in a new direction. After the upgradation, the wallet would be able to integrate the latest bitcoin core security and feature code. 

According to the reports, the upgraded version of PoSVv2 would be compatible with Mac, Linux, Windows and much more software. The ecosystem of the Reddcoin was self-funding, eco-friendly, ad user supportive financial solutions for the next generation and was run by the group who were passionate about the<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/energi-crypto-pushing-for-mass-adoption-with-a-strong-community/"> crypto community</a>.  
<h2>Updated Version To Meet The Growth Target</h2>
In the year 2015, Larry Ren designed the Reddcoin network with a hope to see five percent growth in the market, but since then it has seen the annual growth of one percent only. Later, the Reddcoin team decided to refactor the core protocol so that they could address the needs of the active stakers. While doing so, the team also kept in mind that its growth target comes closer to five percent. After the wallet upgradation, the team hopes to meet up its growth target while providing rewards to the wallet users.

Staking was really important for Reddcoin as it validated transactions, secure them and generated blocks on the network. The Reddcoin was also planning to deliver some rewards to all those RDD holders, who had staked their coin and helping the network to be secure. According to the reports, if 20 percent of the network was staking, then with the help of PoSV v2 the rewards, for the holders, would be multiplied five times and the personal return would be 25 percent annually for them (holders).
