With great projects comes great scepticism. The crypto space welcomes innovations at a blistering pace, and unrealistic delays are something that doesn't go down too well with them. The Shelly project by Cardano is one of the most thrilling and anticipated projects in the Crypto space. However, there remains a lot of controversy regarding the project and now Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of Cardano had taken to Twitter to provide an update.

He uploaded a  video on May 9th and answered a few queries. He addressed the concerns of those who wanted a Shelly Mainnet by 2020 by saying a node is in place and a CLI would be added by next week to run a test amongst friends and family.

He further added that the delay has been due to the unusual circumstances right now and it is just a matter of time. According to Charles Hoskinson, only the plumbing parts, providing people with the necessary tools to install and most importantly make them use it is the missing puzzle now.  He added that the cynical behaviour is bizarre as there's an open repository where Shelly project is clearly mentioned. Additionally, he said that Cardano isn't hiding anything and if they had some secrets or the node wasn't ready, they would not make it public.

The Cardano team also made some revelations regarding the development. The group information that after first tests are being run on Shelly update from last week while also adding that to a few individuals Shelly would be made available from next week onwards.

Charles Hoskinson revealing about the individual tests from next week would surely bring more excitement in the community who have been waiting for it since ages and it seems that next week would bring them one step closer to a proper launch of the project.
