A mobile app for the vehicle has been created by Smart Sight Innovation (SSI), an Indian tech startup, that would help in improving maintenance and inspection of it.

On April 27, 2020, in a <a href="https://www.pr.com/press-release/811132" target="_blank" rel="noopener">public statement</a>, SSI mentioned that it has created the vehicle app for an unnamed client from America. The startup firm has stated that currently, the app is available for Android users.

The unknown client has specialization in creating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain platform.
<h2>SSI’s App Contain Details Of Vehicle</h2>
SSI further stated that if the vehicle has faced any problem like repair work, then the app would prepare a small report of it. The vehicle app would send alerts on the driver’s phone and would even send pictures on the owner’s phone to provide them detailed information about the vehicle.

If the owner of the vehicle would have this app, then it would not be important for them to keep the vehicle’s paper with them, as the app has all of it.

While talking about the app, the SSI has stated, “As inspection reports are available digitally, vehicle drivers can produce them as and when demanded by law enforcement agencies.” It further mentioned that the developers of the app have not only worked on the android App but also on its website.
<h2>App Uses HyperLedger Blockchain Technology</h2>
The engineers have used HyperLedger Blockchain Technology for the vehicle app otherwise the android apps are being developed using Android Studio and Java.

SSI’s new app is another achievement for the transportation sector who has been involved in blockchain technology for quite a long time now.

A few days ago, Sony announced that it has created a blockchain-based system that would integrate data and services among trains, buses, taxis or any other form of transportation. 

In April 2020, the logistic division of AirAsia i.e., Teleport, introduced a cargo booking system which has been developed using blockchain technology.
