Taurus Group, the infrastructural firm for Swiss digital asset, has raised over $10 million in its Series A funding round which was led by Arab Bank Switzerland.

On April 29, 2020, Taurus Group <a href="https://www.coindesk.com/taurus-group-raises-10m-series-a-funding-led-arab-bank-switzerland" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> that it would be using funds for opening new offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt.
<h2>Arab Bank Switzerland Leads Funding Round</h2>
Arab Bank Switzerland, a bridge between Arab and Western Worlds, is considered to be one of the first banks in Switzerland which provides services of digital assets to its users. It believes that in recent time, the financial industry would be influenced by the traditional and the digital asset sectors.

In September 2019, the infrastructural firm and Arab Bank collaborated with each other to provide custody and brokerage services of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) to the bank’s client.

Recently, the bank has announced in May 2020, it would integrate XRP on its platform and provide its services to the bank’s client.

The CEO of Arab Bank Switzerland, Serge Robin, has stated, “We are excited to invest in the leading Swiss fintech offering an outstanding digital asset infrastructure, thus contributing to a much-needed evolution of our industry.”
<h2>High Demand Of Taurus Group In European Nations</h2>
Series A funding round of any company is organized to maintain its growth and while doing so the company would have to keep in mind that it has to reach a milestone. It is also important to include new talent in the company for its growth, therefore, the company should always keep looking for it.

While making the announcement of the raised funds, the co-founder of Taurus  Group, Sebastien Dessimoz, stated that as soon as the company would be introduced in the new market, it would increase the products and engineering teams.

He further mentioned that the demand for Taurus Group is increasing day by day in countries which include France, the United Kingdom and some of the DACH regions.

Dessimoz added that the DACH regions include Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
