Tech Mahindra, an Indian IT giant has recently partnered with Idealabs which is an edtech firm, a startup. This partnership between both the firms have been signed in order to offer blockchain certification courses.
Both the firm will provide these certification courses through live online classes and on-campus classes. All the students who will get enrolled in this course will be able to gain knowledge about each and everything related to blockchain technology including smart contracts, Ethereum, decentralised apps and much more.
Tech Mahindra sees huge demand for blockchain talent
Through this partnership both these firms are aiming towards developing blockchain knowledge among individuals so that they can meet up with high job demand in the blockchain industry. Over the past one year it has been seen that there is an increase of 290% in blockchain jobs. Tech Mahindra has specified that there is a huge demand for people who are experts in blockchain technology. This is because blockchain has seen a huge growth in various sectors including healthcare, finance, education and many others.
According to the blockchain leader of Tech Mahindra, Rajesh Dhuddu, the firm can also hire certified candidates for itself. Some talented candidates who will work well throughout this course can also get a chance to work with their firm. They will get huge growth opportunities and will help the firm to excel as a blockchain industry as well.
Companies and universities coming up with blockchain courses
It is not only Tech Mahindra that is offering blockchain courses as many other companies and universities across the world are coming up with various blockchain courses. Coronavirus pandemic is playing a major role in the rise of such courses because there has been huge blockchain adoption amid this pandemic. The demand for blockchain technology has increased to a great extent due to this virus. In the previous month, RMIT, an Australian Research University has also added two blockchain programs to its postgraduate curriculum. This has been made possible with the partnership of IBM. There are other universities also which has added this type of programs or courses.
