Travala Adds 1 Million New Homes Across 195 Countries

Travala, an online travel booking platform has recently added one million new homes to its platform across 195 different countries. With this addition, the firm has reached a total of 3 million accommodation to its platform that can be booked with cryptocurrency. This one million addition has been made along with the special section for bookings which is called “Homes”. 

Accommodation by Travala can be booked using 30 cryptocurrencies

Travala is not any regular travel booking platform as it offers support to the cryptocurrencies as well. People can book all the holiday homes and apartments by Travala using around 30 different cryptocurrencies. It has extended support to various cryptocurrencies which include Bitcoin, Ether, Binance Coin, and many others. People can also book using the native coin of Travala, i.e. AVA coin. As per the firm, after this recent addition of homes, Travala has entered into the category of fastest-growing firms in the traveling industry. 

The trend towards domestic bookings and traditional hotels alternatives

Juan Otero, CEO of Travala has said that there was a trend towards domestic bookings and traditional hotel alternatives. This was revealed during the first-quarter earnings call with Booking Holdings which is its parent company. He has claimed that there has been a huge increase in the demand for non-hotel accommodation. This is the reason why the firm has launched new homes at this because currently there is a huge increase in demand for homes.

The firm has also announced recently a partnership with a huge booking firm called Agoda. It is entering into different partnerships with several booking firms. Back in July, it also formed a partnership with Expedia which is another booking giant. Not only this, but it has also joined hands with, back in November 2019 which is quite a prominent one in this industry. The firm has also moved towards the firms that are there in the blockchain industry as well.
