Twitter is evaluating a feature to allow users to tip to each other via bitcoin. According to reports from information, the micro-blogging platform has it in his sight to work on implementing a feature to allow people to reward money to each other in the form of tipping.

The idea is still vague given the fact that twitter might intertwine itself with<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Dorsey"> Jack Dorsey</a>'s other Bitcoin venture Square, a San Francisco based financial services, merchant services aggregator and mobile payment company.

Dorsey has been an ardent fan of Bitcoin and his admiration towards the digital currency is no secret.  Twitter CEO is of the view that Bitcoin one day will become the currency of the internet and also rule the world.  Dorsey brought many Bitcoin developers onboard for his payment company Square.

"Dorsey has been a major investor in the Bitcoin micropayments solution Lightning Network," said the report.

Dorsey is scheduled to visit Africa for three to six months in 2020, as he feels that Africa would be the hub of digital currency in the coming years. He also noted the challenges faced to navigate the possibilities of turning digital market a more prominent force to be reckoned with.

It was available on its desktop browser, where twitter users saw a fancy new tip option on their profile.

Similarly, there have been talks about adding Lightning network-based Bitcoin tipping services and if recent reports are to be believed Twitter is already testing the Bitcoin tipping services via Lightning network.
