Totient Labs, a major tech supporter of Vechain has shut down the official <a href="https://medium.com/@vechainofficial/introducing-totient-as-a-partner-pioneering-new-heights-for-the-vechainthor-ecosystem-7d76fd0a1d07">Vechain Blockchain Explorer and Ledger Wallet</a>.  According to reports, this is due to financial issues between Toteint Labs and Vechain Foundation.

A letter sent to VeFam, the Vechain community platform on Reddit, it was alleged that Totient Labs was shutting down two important tools over VeChain Foundation’s decision to stop funding the projects.

The letter revealed that the two projects are to be closed down on 21st October 2019, at exactly 12:00 PM PDT.
<h4>Totient Labs has built 6 projects and services for the VeChain ecosystem, which includes:</h4>
<ul>
 	<li>Explore, VeChain’s official blockchain explorer.</li>
 	<li>Vault, Vechain’s official Ledger wallet interface.</li>
 	<li>Comet, the “MetaMask” for VeChain.</li>
 	<li>CometVerse, VeChain’s first digital collectible platform.</li>
 	<li>Valkyrie, a decentralized marketplace protocol.</li>
 	<li>VIP-191, a protocol upgrade that improved the versatility of fee delegation.</li>
</ul>
It is understood that the problem between both parties had been ongoing for the past seven months. Totient Labs alluded to this in the letter.

“Over the past 7 months, we have been attempting to work with the VeChain Foundation to receive some form of support so that we can continue providing core functionality and infrastructure to the VeChainThor blockchain.”

The sudden shutdown did not come as a shock to the VeChain Foundation, the letter indicates.

“We informed them months in advance that if we were unable to receive support, that we would need to shut down our services. Unfortunately we did not receive support, and as a result, we are unable to continue providing our services to VeChain.”
<h4>Vechain Foundation Reveals New Explorer And Wallet To Be Launched In November</h4>
VeChain Foundation revealed in a separate letter that Tottient Lab has received over $100,000 from the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/">foundation</a> over the years.

According to VeChain Foundation, the VeChain Official Blockchain Explorer and the VeChain Sync Official Ledger Wallet Interface are going to be unveiled soon.

The blockchain explorer is to be launched before the end of November. However, the VeForge Vault closed down by Totient Labs is to be replaced by the VeChain official Ledger Wallet interface.
