May 8, 2020      Jyoti Singh

A Wall Street veteran, Jenny Q. Ta, on May 07, 2020, launched its social media network and marketplace platform, CoinLinked which is powered by Crypto.

Utility Tokens For Users

The platform will have utility tokens which would be presented to the active users of the platform. The tokens could also be used for redeeming discounts on the marketplace of CoinLinked.

While describing CoinLinked, Ta said that it is a very first blockchain-based social network and crypto-commerce platform which is related to a mixture of Twitter, Instagram and Amazon.

The Wall Street veteran further stated, “With global e-commerce steadily expanding each year and sales projections indicating that the multi-billion-dollar industry will reach new highs in 2021, there’s a clear need for a more fluid and less encumbered method for exchanging cryptocurrencies for tangible goods”.

CLC Trading On CoinLinked Only For Now

CoinLinked has two native tokens i.e., security token and ERC-20 utility. The security tokens could be used by those speculators who want to invest in the platform. On the other hand, the ERC-20 utility would aid CoinLinked Coin (CLC), which are present on the platform, with various functions.

The users who would create various content like uploading videos and pictures, sharing links or engaging with existing posts, on the CoinLinked platform would be awarded CLC.

Ta specified that the users are not allowed to use the CLC tokens on another platform. But she notified that in the near future they could trade the tokens, within the platform, for getting discounts. Soon the platform would add stablecoins like Tether on its platform to start trading with CLC.

Ta also indicated that if the regulators approved CLC trading with Ether (ETH), then the platform would start that too.

Soon the OpenFinance, a top security token exchange in the world, would soon enlist security token of CoinLinked on its platform to allow its trading.

The founder of the crypto-powered social network and marketplace clarified that the CoinLinked would only post those content which is not illegal.
