Ukrainian Authorities Seize 3,800 PS4 Consoles From Illegal Crypto Farm

 

The Security Service of Ukraine(SSU) has uncovered an illegal crypto mining operation that employed 3,800 PlayStation 4 consoles(PS4) to mine digital assets. Initial reports suggest that apart from the gaming consoles, the SSU confiscated 50 processors and 500 graphics cards from the facility, which is being called “the largest crypto farm in Ukraine.”

Pontem, an experimental network for Facebook’s Diem token, is partnering with Polkadot project Pinknode to offer “crucial infrastructure for Web 3.0 purposes.” The partnership will allow Pontem to build a testing ground, which can be used by developers to test their applications before migrating them to the permissioned Diem blockchain.
