The Nevada Department of Business and Industry's Financial Institutions Division issued permission to the US branch of the international bitcoin exchange. Shroder added that the exchange's decision to apply for a Nevada business license supports its continuous efforts to improve compliance.

Nevada is the seventh state to grant the exchange a money transmitter license in 2022. Other jurisdictions are West Virginia, Connecticut, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Idaho, and Puerto Rico. Currently operating in 46 states and Puerto Rico, Binance US offers some of the lowest market fees for listing more than 120 <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/gnosis-safe-announces-plans-to-airdrop-50-million-safe-tokens/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tokens</a>.

In other headlines, Binance reported that the Astana Financial Services Authority [AFSA] had granted it an in-principle operating permit to conduct business in Kazakhstan.
