The BitBay’s services have been interrupted because of the network issues with its external service provider. 

A report suggests that many of the users on BitBay were trying to open the platfrom but were not able to do so. While exchange noticed this problem, it officially <a href="https://twitter.com/BitBayPolska/status/1243100253429137414?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1243100253429137414&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.financemagnates.com%2Fcryptocurrency%2Fnews%2Fbitbay-facing-outage-as-crypto-trade-surges%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> on twitter the ongoing network issues. The report further mentions that the users are facing problem mostly with BitBay’s services, the web address is also having a problem but it is momentarily reachable.

<h2>Increasing Trend On BitBay</h2>
According to a report, the largest crypto exchange of Poland, BitBay, from the past few weeks, the exchange has been experiencing an increasing trend in its trading volume. The exchange has reported that on March 13, 2020, the value of Bitcoin-Polish zloty (PLN) pair reached its peak to date, 11,233 BTC. It further mentioned that within 24 hours, the fiat value of PLN also increased and reached $75 million. The exchange saw another increasing trend on March 18, 2020, when BTC-EUR pair hit a peak and the trading volume on this exchange recorded was of 223 BTC. In the next 24 hours, the exchange earned more than $39 million in trading volume. 
<h2>Investors Heading Towards Digital Assets</h2>
The report further states that after the outbreak of COVID-19, many of the investors are planning to invest in digital assets.

In the year 2019, BitBay changed its payment provider to Payment Technologies because its former partner was having some banking-related issues. 

The primary customer base of BitBay is in Poland but in November 2019, it moved its operation base to Estonia.
