However, the control of this range on the weekend is not an indicator for a reliable confirmation of buyers’ strength. The daily timeframe shows that the DASH price is organically moving in its trend channel from November 2020:

After the last attack of buyers on 10 January, the new attempt to grow at the moment looks weak. Trading volumes are lower than during the previous local growth wave. If in the period from 10 to 12 January, <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash/">the DASH trading volumes</a> fluctuated in the range of $2.5-3.2 billion a day, now - up to $1 billion.

Apart from the volume, the current daily candles do not look so aggressive, which indicates a lack of sufficient strengths to form a new growth impulse. Though, looking in more detail at what is happening in the range of $114-116, the chances of the DASH growth continuation are high:

Although buyers did not manage to confidently break the liquidity range, closing the weekly candle at $118.31, they keep the price well. This behavior of buyers shows a desire to increase positions and not respond to the BTC weakness, which could not keep the mark of $40,000. Therefore, a confident consolidation in this liquidity zone in a few days will be able to generate a new price shot up with a target of $180-190. An alternative scenario is the repeated test of the trend line and the range of $100.
