A Singapore-based Blockchain platform, Edufied, made an <a href="https://edufied.network/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcement</a> on March 27, 2020, regarding seed funding, in which it has raised an undisclosed amount. According to the company statement, currently, the firm is evaluated at $3.92 million.

The participants of the funding round were a group of private investors. 
<h2>Agency To Use Blockchain System To Offer e-Credentials</h2>
The company founded in the year 2018, would now provide a blockchain-based system to its client so that they could easily administer e-credentials. The system would allow them to reduce the amount of work done by the admin and prevent the company from fake certificates and claims. 

In return, Edufied offers academic and training passport to the receivers, so that they (receivers) could store and share the credentials securely.
<h2>Use Seed Funding For Expanding Business</h2>
Earlier the Edufied’s main focus was education sector only but gradually, it expanded its reach and decided to work with professional and government organizations.

The CEO and founder of Edufied, Ryan Soh has recently stated that the company has been planning to use the seed funds to grow its business in Singapore and as well as in Philipines. He further said, “With a larger footprint, we will be enhancing our support team to serve our clients better and focusing on a client-centric approach to improve our product.”

The report suggests that the company is planning to mark its presence in a total of five countries by the year 2021.

Since a long time, the company has been planning to work with AMA Education System of Philippine and Philippine Merchant Marine Academy. The company also mentioned that it is also looking forward to working for government agencies, in pilot testing, in the country.

The company revealed that it has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Association for Private Education. According to the MoU, the firm would provide its services to 34 institution members agency.
