The 3D virtual world, <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/decentraland-to-host-metaverse-first-fashion-week-next-month/">Decentraland</a> celebrates the glitz and glam of the Metaverse Virtual Fashion Week. The fashion show would consist of high-end brands selling NFT collectibles in the form of wearable goods. 

Earlier this week, Decentraland announced the opening of Metaverse Virtual Fashion Week (MVFW) on Twitter.

<h2>Inauguration of the Fashion Week</h2>
The announcement comes at a time when digital goods and services in the Metaverse have been on a rise. The amalgamation of the fashion industry with technology has managed to blur the lines between the physical and virtual worlds.

Decentraland announces a newly created space called Fashion District which will be showcasing a variety of community-run neighborhoods. The District will debut luxury brands and designers featuring catwalks, panels, galleries, etc.
<h2>Brands Showcase Style in Fashion District</h2>
More than 70 high-end designer brands including Estee Lauder, Dolce &amp; Gabbana, Forever 21, Elie Saab will be partaking in the first-ever large-scale MVFW. Creative Director of Decentraland, Sam Hamilton states that Fashion Week will provide users a space to understand wearables through avatars. 

To create a unique virtual experience, Estee Lauder in partnership with the popular metaverse artist, Alex Box has created an NFT wearable. Estee Lauder’s inspiration was the leading serum called Advanced Night Repair. 

Concluding and supporting his statement, Hamilton states,
