Amid the coronavirus pandemic, there have been many blockchain-focused and crypto-focused companies that are making some efforts to help and support people.

Recently, the blockchain startup in Israel, Orbs, decided to help people by using its new app which the company has <a href="https://www.orbs.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> a few days ago. The app would motivate people to self-quarantine themselves during the time of crisis.
<h2>App Encourages Users To Self Quarantine</h2>
The app named Stay at Home Challenge is created to make sure that once the user enters into its location, it does not leave that radius. The app would record the self-quarantine time of the user and if by chance it leaves the designated home area the app would send a notification to the user.

The concept of Stay at Home Challenge is based on a game. Since the time the user would start its self-quarantine period the game starts, later, it could share the progress with friends and family and that would motivate them to stay at home as well.
<h2>iOS Users To Soon Use App By Orbs</h2>
Orbs have clarified that the app only tracks the location of the user, it does not use or gather any other personal data, not even name and email.

The android users could download the app via Google Play but presently, it is not available for iOS users. However, Orbs has stated that it would soon launch the app for iOS users too.

Orbs, while talking about its new blockchain-based app, stated, “We will continue to think of ways we can help out in Israel and globally to get us all through these challenging times.” The company assures that it regularly holds a meeting to discuss the ideas that could help in fighting COVID-19.

There has been one more app that is presently helping the people to check their COVID-19 status, this app was developed before Stay at Home Challenge app, by the scholars in South African university.
