One of the biggest partners of Ripple, MoneyGram, recently inked an agreement with Uber, a multinational ride company, to further extend its tentacles around the world.
<h2>Cheap And Easy Money Transfer </h2>
MoneyGram which is a world’s second-largest payment company, on May 26, made an <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/moneygram-and-uber-launch-partnership-to-support-drivers-during-global-pandemic-301065363.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcement</a> regarding its partnership with the American ride-hailing company Uber. The remittance company in its announcement further mentioned that it would help the Uber drivers and its other employees to make easy and cheap digital money transfers in more than 200 countries around the world.

The CEO of MoneyGram, Alex Holmes, recently stated, “The partnership became needful as a result of customer feedback especially from drivers and couriers who love and use MoneyGram for sending money”.

He further mentioned that during this <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/crypto-users-activity-during-covid-19-pandemic/">COVID-19 pandemic</a>, the partner of Ripple has offered a discounted transfer rate to the drivers.

MoneyGram also notified that not only the Uber drivers but also those people who make their earnings from Uber would be able to use its company’s user-friendly remittance services while sending money to their loved ones.

People who are the employees of any of the Uber Franchise like Uber Freight, Driver app, Uber Works and Uber Eats would be eligible for discount.
<h2>Demand For MoneyGram’s Remittance Services Increasing</h2>
While sharing his views on this latest partnership, Uber stated that this pandemic period has become a challenge for its workers but it is hopeful after this collaboration with MoneyGram its employee would be able to easily send money to their loved ones around the world.

Kamila Chytil, the COO of MoneyGram, has said that in recent time there has been an increasing demand for digital payment services of MoneyGram and the company is working very hard to satisfy its customer.

Chytil further stated that currently, one of the largest partners of Ripple would offer cheap transfer services to those people who earn their livelihood through Uber platform.

A report stated that before Uber, the MoneyGram has collaborated E9Pay which is a Korean payment giant.
