Crypto adoption has increased to a great extent in the past several months and people have started using it as a payment method. Recently, it was revealed that, Venezuelan branch of Pizza Hut accepts crypto as a payment now. It is not the only food chain in Venezuela that has started accepting crypto payments as Burger King and Church’s Chicken are already accepting one. This news is revealed by a tweet from CryptoBuyer, a crypto services firm, on November 27, 2020.

Pizza Hut Accepts Crypto Using CryptoBuyer

As the news revealed, Pizza Hut accepts crypto using CryptoBuyer, which has recently formed a partnership with Mega Soft. According to CryptoBuyer, this partnership will help to increase crypto adoption across the nation as it provides crypto payment facility at more than 20,000 businesses.

Pizza Hut believes in technological innovation as Richard ElKhouri, General Director for Venezuelan branch said:

“It is important that we accommodate young people, modern adults, and people technologically knowledgeable.”

Customers will be able to use Bitcoin, Litecoin, Binance Coin, Dash, Ether, Tether, Dai, XPT and Binance USD to make payments. Pizza Hut has its branches across Venezuela, which will ultimately drive crypto adoption to a very great extent.

CryptoBuyer Runs Bitcoin ATMs Across Central and South America

Along with providing crypto payment services, CryptoBuyer also runs Bitcoin ATMs across Central and South America. Not only Pizza Hut, other fast-food chains and popular companies are also using CryptoBuyer for crypto payments. The first-ever commercial Bitcoin purchase was done on May 22, 2010, for buying a pizza. The person has traded 10,000 BTC for just two pizzas which are now worth around $181 million. The idea of using cryptocurrency as a normal payment is one of the greatest methods of driving crypto adoption at a very large scale. As Pizza Hut accepts crypto payments now, there will be a huge increase in crypto adoption across the country.
