SIAE, the Italian body in charge of collective copyright management, has revealed that it would be partnering with Algorand so as to create a new public network to deal with copyright management, The regulatory body is set to leverage on the newly released Algorand’s high-performance blockchain platform.
Algorand utilizes a pure proof-of-stake (PPoS) protocol, which guaranty that decentralization is capable and has optimal security while making it particularly acceptable for responsible management of every metadata and exchanges necessarily carried out for proper rights management.
Both parties, Algorand and SIAE are hoping to bank on the nearest future where copyright management will be fully integrated in the blockchain technology.
Accordingly, their partnership will rise to revolutionize and keep tools and services to uphold copyright management for creating open and attainable solutions, clearly developing the intermediation and efficacy level of their activity.
SIAE Looking To Leverage Blockchain Technology To Protect Italian Authors and Publishers
According to the General Manager of SIAE, Gaetano, the firm is trying to foresee future solutions that guarantee greater efficiency and transparency to their different associates.
