Tezos Smart Contracts In Use by French Army since September

Tezos Smart Contracts has earned itself the position of very first blockchain that has been put to use by a public entity for operational reasons. The French Army has taken blockchain into use to uphold its administrative expenses through the smart contract.

In a ground-breaking declaration, it has come to light that the French government has been keenly working on Tezos.

In a testimony which war released earlier today, the French Army and the Gendarmerie’s Information and Public Relations Center (SIRPA) has mentioned that the government entity has been making use of Tezos since September. It has been utilizing it to trace judicial costs incurred for operational purposes.

The cybercrime division, C3N, is the division of the French Army that works on Tezos. The cryptocurrency payments are acquired from Europol-allocated funds through the recently-launched program to fulfil operational expenses.a smart contract has been created on Tezos to record every cost and trace them.

Only a few permitted individuals can see the smart contract created by C3N. This is to make sure that not everyone can access the operational costs, which poses a threat to judicial investigations in hand.

This news confirms the release of the first-ever operational smart contract over the blockchain network. Since the project is based in Paris, it is obvious why Tezos is the preferred blockchain network in France.

It is fascinating to see that Dune, the hard fork of Tezo, has made inroads with investments coming in from significant participants and establishments across France. As per the reports provided by BeInCrypto, Dune has gained investments from one of the French Billionaires and numerous start-up leaders.

Currently, the two public blockchains are battling over who can captivate a larger market share across France. Even though Tezos is substantially massive than the other one as of now, the hunt is on to find which one would prove to be more successful. There are over 40 research engineers associated with Tezos, and the main research centre of operations is the Nomadic Labs.
