SHIBUYA109 is planning to create several businesses including selling original NFTs, mini-games that can help you earn NFTs, and advertising in the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/uaes-top-property-developer-to-launch-metaverse-project-this-month/">metaverse</a>. Additionally, The Sandbox and SHIBUYA109 made this move to create a playground that provides a 'thrilling experience' and provides 'next-generation consumer experience' to their users. 

During the pandemic, many corporations realized that traveling will be in jeopardy. Thereby, SHIBUYA109 Entertainment wanted to create Shibuya City that could be visited by people from across the globe. The Representative Director of SHIBUYA109 Entertainment, Ayushi Ishikawa stated,
