Tim Draper, a multimillion-dollar venture capitalist, predicted the price of Bitcoin would be $250,000 in three years.

In a <a href="https://blocktv.com/watch/2019-09-13/5d7b2097c9a7e-tim-draper-250-000-bitcoin-prediction-is-conservative-">BlockTv interview</a>, Tim Draper described his Bitcoin <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/btc-price-manipulation-as-a-factor-in-bitcoin-etf-and-regulatory-delay-sec-chairman-jay-clayton/">price</a> forecast as conservative. On other occasions, the billionaire has maintained popular price predictions for the leading cryptocurrency. On this occasion, his vision is that in three years, it will amount to $250,000.

Draper says:
"I hit the number on the head when I predicted $10,000 three years before it reached 10K, and it happened within a week of my prediction, something like the spirits have been with me. At $250,000, that means Bitcoin would have a market share of about 5% in the world's currency. Moreover, I think that maybe underestimating the power of Bitcoin".

The technology entrepreneur further commented that as cryptocurrencies generally predominate in people's everyday use, fiat money will gradually disappear.

He assures that, in the short term, people will like using Bitcoin more than Fiat, generated by knowing that their FFiat has a natural inflation rate in their governments, while Bitcoin does not depend on any regulator to determine its price much less its use.

In this sense, for Draper, Bitcoin represents a viable alternative to fiduciary currency, precisely because of the distrust that governments generate in people.

During the interview, founder Draper Fisher Jurvetson Venture Capital highlighted the situation in Argentina, how people would move from Fiat to BTC. However, during the interview, Draper also pointed out that there is still work to be done for the BTC to be easier to use.
