Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey believes Bitcoin will be the currency of the internet.

Dorsey, who is enthusiastic about Lightning Labs' cryptographic ecosystem and investor, announced her four reasons why she believes Bitcoin should be the currency of value on the internet.

Dorsey explained for the news portal Quartz that there are four reasons why Bitcoin should be the currency of value on the internet.

After her silence on the cryptographic ecosystem, Dorsey stated in MMA commentator <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Rogan">Joe Rogan's</a> podcast that Bitcoin (BTC) should be the global currency of the internet.

Dorsey is also an investor in Lightning Labs (LL), a Blockchain development company that builds the second layer of scalable solutions on Bitcoin's network.

On the other hand, Twitter's CEO is a fan of the LL plug-in called "Tippin" that allows users to send micropayments in cryptocurrency to other users on Twitter.

The initial is related to Bitcoin and everything it comprises as a brand. BTC is a common term for many internet natives. It is even positioned with more searches than other terms such as Donald Trump, Elon Musk, among others. Also, the popularity of BTC aroused the curiosity of companies such as Facebook, Telegram, Microsoft, and even Apple to adopt and implement content from the cryptographic system.

Secondly, he highlighted the initial ideals upon which the first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, was created thanks to its pioneer, Satoshi Nakamoto (whose real identity is not yet known).

Another reason for Dorsey is that:

"The other thing I think makes it (Bitcoin) probably the strongest candidate is that the principles behind this are very pure. The creation was very pure and focused on a public good, rather than any other particular agenda."

Likewise, Dorsey likes Bitcoin's deflationary economy because only a certain number of BTCs will be created, and therefore, it has a fixed inflation rate that is known earlier.
He adds that:

"Because it is a scarce resource, it has a probability of always increasing its value, which makes people consider much more how they spend it.
Finally, he pointed to the security of the Bitcoin network.

"It is now ten years old, so it has been tested during those ten years, in all dimensions, from threats to security to governments to forks, to infamous national states, and has been resistant to all those threats and challenges. And resistance is very valuable."

He is right in terms of security, although on the other hand, the different platforms of cryptographic space this year have suffered losses equal to and possibly more significant than all of 2018, which is why it is one of the challenges to overcome for more people to join this virtual economy.
