WanChain blockchain technology, on May 08, 2020, has inked a <a href="https://medium.com/wanchain-foundation/wanchain-to-join-band-protocol-as-a-validator-node-operator-f65efa93f812" target="_blank" rel="noopener">deal</a> with the Band Protocol, a platform which has cross-chain oracles, to act as a genesis validator, said Noah Maizels, the Technical Marketing Manager at WanChain.
<h2>Band Protocol Will Provide Real-Time Information</h2>
The world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance, also supports the Band Protocol to help it with the blockchain technology to offer oracle services.

This partnership would help WanChain to get an entry in off-chain data provided by the Band Protocol, like a sports event, price feeds and lottery outcomes.

Even, FinNexus, the project of the WanChain ecosystem, would get feed with data such as the real-time price information. 

The CEO of Band Protocol, Soravis Srinawakoon, expressed his joy of working with the WanChain, and he said that the company has been waiting to introduce its own BandChain which would be an oracle computation platform based on blockchain.

He further said that the oracle protocol company is happy to see the rapid growth of WanChain ecosystem. And he also claimed that they would always back the WanChain ecosystem with the company’s decentralized oracle.
<h2>WanChain To Support BandChain</h2>
This partnership would be beneficial for both parties. On the one hand, WanChan would act as a validator node to Band Protocol, and on another hand, Band Protocol would help the WanChain ecosystem with various important off-chain data.

Jack Lu, the CEO of WanChain, while sharing his view on the partnership with Binance-backed platform stated that he is very excited for their project. He further said that the partnership would allow the WanChain Dapps to link the real-time data with any data source.

Additionally, Jack expressed his confidence in Band Protocol’s ability and mentioned that the cross-chain oracle platform could become a leading player in its space.

The CEO of blockchain technology claims that it would support all the missions of Band Protocol on BandChain Network as the company’s validator.

Apart from Binance, Band Protocol is supported by Sequoia Capital which is an institutional investor.
