Alexis Ohanian, the Co-Founder of Reddit has revealed that crypto represents a segment of his investment portfolio and a lot of his holdings are in Ethereum. As revealed, Seven Seven Six has since taken part in the $5 million funding round for Bitcoin rewards app Lolli and has invested in blockchain infrastructure company QuickNode.
Alexis Ohanian Reveals Ethereum in his Portfolio
A major segment of the crypto investments of Alexis Ohanian is represented by Ethereum and speaking to Squawk Box of CNBC says:
“I do think Ethereum [has], at least for the next year or two, really got the most to prove, or at least the most potential to show something because there are so many interesting applications,” Ohanian told Andrew Ross Sorkin on CNBC’s.”
In addition to this, he said:
“NFTs are just the start of what’s getting built on top of the Ethereum blockchain, and that’s where a lot of my holdings are candid.”
Dissimilar to the Bitcoin blockchain, which is widely used to create and deal securely with the ital money, the Ethereum blockchain more widely assimilates smart contract code that eliminates the arbitrators and allows people to develop applications on the top of the blockchain.
Polygon and 0x Spends $10.5 M to Attract People to the Polygon Network
It has been recently announced by the team behind 0x, the decentralized exchange protocol and Polygon, the Ethereum scalability platform that they are spending $10.5 million in a bid to attract people to the Polygon Network.
“Developers can also build significantly more complex and interesting products without having to worry about incurring additional costs for their users.”
Along with this, it should be known that Polygon targets to fix expanding and cost issues on Etheruem but utilizing a sidechain solution.
A sidechain solution is a semi-independent blockchain that operates in a brougham with an associated blockchain.
