B2C2 <a href="https://www.b2c2.com/newspost/b2c2-appoints-nicola-white-as-group-ceo" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced</a> today that Phillip Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who supervised the company's takeover by Japanese bank SBI Financial Services, is resigning.
<h2>Nicola White Takes Over Phillip Gillespie's Position</h2>
As of November 4, current U.S. CEO Nicola White took over as group CEO, with Tokyo-based Gillespie aiming to partner with <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/mas-issues-capital-markets-services-license-to-sbi-digital-markets">SBI in the digital asset sector</a>. White entered the market maker in July of last year and was formerly Citadel Securities' global chief operating officer of limited income.

White stated that although the company is witnessing unpredictable times in the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/crypto-volatility-leads-to-termination-of-over-60-coinbase-employees">cryptocurrency market</a>, the business has managed to offer significant, substantial liquidity to the clients.  He further stated that to assist the clients and the marketplace with predictable liquidity and risk management, B2C2 plays a pioneering role in the development of a sustainable ecosystem.
<h2>Expansion of the Company</h2>
According to a corporate spokeswoman, the appointment had been prepared over the previous three months and was not related to the recent market turmoil caused by worries about <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/crypto-lender-blockfi-halts-withdrawals-in-wake-of-ftx-collapse">FTX's</a> impending collapse. The UK-based company, established in 2015, started as a market maker in digital assets and last year, after its purchase by 2020, expanded into options and loan products.
