The market meltdown on March 12 and 13 raised a few eyebrows, and many people questioned credential of bitcoin as a safe-haven asset. However, despite the negative outlook, there were a few voices from the community like Anthony Pompliano, and CZ, the CEO of Binance who continues in their pursuit that bitcoin will come right back up and should not be judged over a short period.
<h2>Claims of Bitcoin as a Safe Haven Asset to Only Grow Further</h2>
Tone Vays went a step ahead and optimistically<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNBQOv55qlk&amp;feature=youtu.be"> boasted</a> that he doesn't see bitcoin's falling below $6,100 again while also suggesting that bitcoin's status as a safe haven will solidify more soon.

While these big guns statements are definitely to be noted, on the other hand, a lot of people find the prospect of buying bitcoin right now, frightening. They believe that with the current crisis going on, it is only natural bitcoin will fall again, especially given that bitcoin was recently so related to the traditional asset and when they fell down, it followed suit.

Bitcoin shared a very close relationship with gold and traditional assets at the time of the crash and even for a little period after it. A binance report suggested that 21% of people have had a change of opinion regarding bitcoin as a safe haven asset, in the first quarter of 2020.

Additionally, there have been reports recently that highlights that new users were flocking to buy bitcoin when it came crashing down to around the $4,000 mark. The new buyers look at it as a perfect buying opportunity.

However, Alex Saunders, CEO of Australia's Nugget news was of the opinion that the market lacked new users. The view was echoed by Tone Vays too who believes in bitcoin as a safe haven asset but stated that when an asset hits rock bottom, that is necessarily not the right time for new users to sneak in. He further added:
<blockquote>"The majority of people find out about an asset when they hit new highs. A new wave of people will probably come in sometime in late this year or early next year when we are above $10,000."</blockquote>
